These clever Orange and Lavender Shaving Bars soften the hair and nourish your skin both at the same time. Better still, if you don’t have a bowl and brush to hand, you can still whip up a very respectable lather between your hands – after a shower or bath is best.
Each Shaving bar is handmade with castor oil, olive oil, coconut oil, kaolin clay, soy wax, aloe vera and lavender & orange essential oils.

Friendly Orange & Lavender Shaving Bar
This is a naked alternative to shaving cream or foam, usually packaged in metal cans with plastic lids. This packaging doesn't seem so bad as the metal can can usually be recycled. However, did you know that some shaving foams/creams include a form of plastic in the ingredients? Examples include PEG products and Glyceryl Acrylate - check your shaving foam cans to see if they include these ingredients.
The packaging used for these soap bars is made from 100% recycled materials and is recyclable too.
From a quick browse on Superdrug, the shaving cream varied between £2 and £4. Based on how long bar soap tends to last, £2.75 for a Friendly Shaving Bar made with only natural products and completely plastic free isn't badly priced at all!
Up until recently, I have been using a battery operated shaver for my legs. I have since switched to a metal safety razor (I can highly recommend the Edwin Jagger razor if you're looking for one) and been using up a can of shaving foam that I bought a little while ago. Once I have finished this, I will be giving these bars a go so this review will be updated in due course.
My review: TBC - watch this space!
