Last Swab Reusable Cotton Bud (3 colours)

  • These reusable cotton swabs are an alternative to single use cotton swabs made out of plastic, paper or bamboo.

One swab replaces at least 1,000 single use cotton swabs which saves a large amount of waste which is always a positive (plus, could also save you some money in the long run). Not only is this an improvement from a waste perspective, but the CO2 emissions are also lower as it is only 1 swab to be made and shipped instead of 1,000 disposable ones so it is the better eco friendly alternative.

  • I have recently started using one of these and so far I am impressed. It works just as well as the disposable ones, but is way more satisfying not having to throw anything away at the end (this makes me very happy)!

The rod is made of PP which is a non-toxic plastic which is the only minor downside for me as when the time comes to dispose of this, it is throwing away plastic which massively goes against the grain. However, it's use throughout it's life will have prevented at least 1,000 cotton buds from going to landfill, so this evens out this personal negative.

The case is made of a plant-based plastic, which has a very low impact on the enviroment and is biodegradable - win!
