On my journey to zero waste, I've found that most things we use in our day to day lives come with a plastic free alternative, even if it's slightly outside of the norm. I also think that a lot of the products available are actually much better alternatives to high street brands as they tend to use organic or natural ingredients which do wonders for your skin, with no toxic chemicals!
