Brushed. Interdental brushes will help with your daily oral care routine by removing the build up between your teeth.
- Pack of 5
- Dentist approved
- Bamboo handle
- BPA free nylon bristles
- Available in 3 thicknesses
How to use:
Push the interdental brush carefully into the space between two teeth. Move the brush horizontally back and forth a few times as well as diagonally in an “X” movement alongside the teeth. Do this carefully. Always use the interdental brush without toothpaste, and preferably daily before brushing your teeth. Clean the brush under running water. You should replace the brush after 7 to 14 days.
Please be aware that bristles are still BPA-free nylon so these must be removed before putting the handle in your compost bin. Tip - Save the old ones for cleaning hard to reach places in the house and only get rid when you need to.
Brand Story: Brushd. is an eco-friendly dental care brand offering a complete range of products that decrease our plastic pollution without compromising on your oral health. All of their packaging is plastic free, and their products aim to reduce plastic as much as possible.
Brushd Bamboo Interdental Brushes
Interdental brushes are encouraged by many dentists for general oral hygiene, however most available on the market are made from plastic and will probably end up outliving us in landfill.
These bamboo ones, although not perfect, are a step in the right direction! The bamboo handle can be composted after use, which reduces a large amount of plastic waste ending up in landfill.
A standard pack of interdental brushes on Superdrug is £3.25 so at £3.49, these are only a few pennies more than the plastic option.
Unfortunately, due to the size of the gaps in my teeth, it is basically impossible for me to fit anything except floss between them. So I can't provide a personal review or rating for these at this time. I will update this with a review from a tester once they have tried them.
